Onboarding your Non-profit Account
After creating a Non-profit Account, a few tasks are required to be completed in Org Settings to onboard your account. This should take no more than 10 minutes.
Validate your email address
If you've just signed up, check your inbox for an email with the subject line "Welcome to Visufund". This email contains a button/link to complete this task. If you can't find this email, use the click here to resend a link from the task list in Org Settings to send a validation email.
If you are not receiving any emails from us:
- Check any spam/junk folders or filters on your email system
- Check you supplied the correct email address in My Account
If our emails are getting caught by a spam filter, please whitelist our domain (visufund.com) on your email system.
Billing Details
Your billing address is required for any invoices we generate for you. Even if you do not intend to buy any products, we generate a monthly invoice for your records, to account for any platform fees that may have been deducted from donations. Billing details are not shared publicly with your supporters.
Logo
Under Organisation Details, upload your full colour organisation logo using the following criteria:
- A high resolution JPEG or PNG file
- Appropriate for placement on white/light backgrounds
- Minimal margin (space between logo and edge of image)
Supporter email contact
This email address is shared with your supporters on your pages. If you have a dedicated email address for this purpose, please enter it here.
About organisation
This section should be populated with a general overview of the work your organisation undertakes. Please do not refer to any specific campaigns or appeals; this information forms part of your profile and is shared all-year-round. Information on specific appeals can be written on each page you create.
Generic thank-you message
This default message is used to thank a donor when they make a donation via a supporter fundraising page. Please do not refer to any specific campaigns or appeals in this message either. You can write unique thank-you messages on every page you create.

Account verification
As part of our KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure, all of our Non-profit accounts are manually checked and verified for authenticity. Our team operates between 08:00 and 22:00 GMT every day and we do our very best to verify your account before you have completed the onboarding tasks! If you see Please wait for us to verify your details, please bear with us to do our bit. If your account has not been verified after 24 hours, please check your email in case we have tried to contact you for further information.
