As many of you know, I will be celebrating my 60th birthday on 1st September this year!
And rather than receiving gifts for my birthday, I'm asking for donations to my favourite charity – Home-Start Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire.
This charity is so close to my heart; as Dave always says – I live and breathe it! I am so proud of the work that my colleagues and I do and the difference this makes to our local community.
So, if you could spare a few pennies to celebrate with me, I would be so very grateful. Home-Start Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire have a funding target of £200,000 to raise this year to continue providing the much-needed service to the families we support, so any donation you can make will be much appreciated.

Being a parent has never been easy. It can be lonely, frustrating, heartbreaking and overwhelming, and life-changing events can happen to anyone.
We have supported local families since 1983 – working alongside parents through all kinds of tough times, such as:

> Multiple births
> Recovering from an abusive relationship,
> and so much more.
Our support is completely free, non-judgemental, compassionate and tailored to the needs of the family.
We help parents be the best they can be - to give their children a brighter future.
