We support the Children's Hospice SW because of their commitment to making the most of the short and precious lives of children with life-threatening conditions. They provide specialist care for the whole family, looking after their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. They rely almost entirely on voluntary contributions and this has been a difficult year for them with many events having to be cancelled. This year we have had to look at different ways to support them, due to the Covid restrictions, and we are hoping that many of our customers, suppliers, employees and friends will donate by buying a virtual present on this page. We provide hospice care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West. The care we offer is wide ranging; hospice stays, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care. We operate 3 hospices; Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in mid Cornwall.
We offer a home from home where babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families can take a short break away to re-charge their batteries in a homely, warm and welcoming environment. Providing a much-needed break from the ongoing strains of caring for their children at home, juggling professional and medical appointments as well as maintaining family life and employment. In the main, we provide the chance for families to get away from it all, but we also offer emergency and palliative care in a peaceful and comfortable setting.
