Welcome to the "Love Your Home-Start" (LYHS) fundraising page for Johnson Matthey.
In February each year, Home-Start celebrates the work they do in the community by holding their LYHS day. And 2023 is a particularly special year, as the charity celebrates its 40th Anniversary.
Home-Start has been helping families in Royston, Buntingford and the SG8 villages of South Cambridgeshire since 1983. That's 40 years of offering friendly, confidential, compassionate help to families who are facing tough times. And here at JM, we do many things throughout the year to raise funds for them or help the families themselves.
So for a contribution of £2 (or greater), we invite you to dress in Home-Start's signature colours (purple and orange) as part of this special Anniversary edition of their annual LYHS day on Friday, 10th February.
So have some fun, show your colleagues and share your pictures – and let’s raise lots of money together in the name of love!

Being a parent has never been easy. It can be lonely, frustrating, heartbreaking and overwhelming, and life-changing events can happen to anyone.
We have supported local families since 1983 – working alongside parents through all kinds of tough times, such as:
> Mental ill-health and post-natal depression
> Isolation
> Physical disability and illness
> The end of a relationship
> Bereavement
> Multiple births
> Recovering from an abusive relationship,
> and so much more.
Our support is completely free, non-judgemental, compassionate and tailored to the needs of the family.
We help parents be the best they can be - to give their children a brighter future.
