Christmas is a time when we get together with our family and friends. We remember the past year and look forward to the one to come.
At St Martin’s Christmas means that our church is full all day and late into the evening with advent and Christmas services, carols and festive concerts. We welcome thousands of people to enjoy a Christmas meal, a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine.
And as ever, we offer a place of sanctuary and support for those with nowhere else to go.
Sadly this year Christmas will be very different for many people. And we share this difference with you. We have been hit hard by the pandemic, but with your help we have kept our doors open.
We may not be able to offer you our usual Christmas. But we hope you will still join us for music and services, wherever you are, and that if you are able to, you might buy a virtual bauble on our tree to support our work.
We hope you will choose to be with St Martin’s this Christmas, and know that by doing so you are helping us with our work in the year to come.

St Martin-in-the-Fields has been serving London for centuries. Today St Martin’s is known and loved for its inspiring services and enlightened thinking, beautiful music and for our compassion for homeless and vulnerable people.
But our historic buildings and wide-ranging work come at a price.
