Happy's Place (Retirement Home for Dogs) is a Registered Ontario non-profit incorporation made up entirely of volunteers who are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing senior dogs right across Canada.
We take in Canadian senior dogs aged 6 & older, including palliative care, who are at risk of euthanasia due to age, illness or disability. We rescue from both shelters & owner surrenders too, where the dogs are each provided with foster care in a foster home unique to their individual needs, are offered positive reinforcement training when required, along with a vast amount of vet care including; dentals, up to date medical, spay/neuter, & a variety of specialized surgeries to ensure that each senior dog is ready for their happily ever after to begin.
Senior dogs who are already in their final chapters remain under our wing for the duration of their lives & are carefully monitored by our medical team ensuring the highest quality of life for as long as they have left.
