This year marks a monumental milestone for Beacon as we celebrate 150 years of supporting people living with sight loss. By dedicating a message on our Virtual Forget Me Not Tree, you can remember and honour your loved ones while also helping us continue our vital work.
Your dedication and donation will help Beacon support those who need us most, empowering people with sight loss to live fuller, more independent lives. We welcome you to share a personal message or tribute for your loved one as part of this year’s remembrance.
We also warmly invite you to join us at our Forget Me Not Service at the Beacon Centre’s Lighthouse Restaurant on Thursday 11th December at 6:30pm. The service will feature hymns, beautiful performances from Dysfunctional Harmony, and the official lighting of our Christmas Tree, a special moment to pause, reflect, and remember those we hold dear during the festive season.
All names featured on our virtual Forget Me Not Tree will also appear on our real tree, proudly displayed in the Lighthouse Restaurant.
Thank you for your support.

We’ve been here to make sure no one has to face sight loss alone. Whether you're just starting your journey or have been navigating it for a while, we can help you to live well with sight loss. We've been supporting people with conditions like Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Tunnel Vision, and Glaucoma for generations. Our vision? A world where everyone values and protects their sight, and where visual impairment is just a part of your story, not the whole story.
