Please support the Friends of Tannery Drift School team at this year’s Home-Start Aquathon 2024!

Friends of Tannery Drift School (FTDS) raise money throughout the academic year to fund projects, equipment or facilities which would not otherwise be funded, to enhance school life for the children of Tannery Drift First School.

FTDS is formed of every parent, carer and member of staff who helps to fundraise for the school – whether as part of the committee/membership, making donations, or organising/helping out at an event.

As with most charities, we have faced challenges with fundraising in the last couple of years, but continue to explore enjoyable ways to bring together and support our wider school community, such as this Aquathon.

As an example of how funds are spent, in 2022/2023, FTDS funded, or agreed to fund the following; whole school in school pantomime experience, gift of a book for every child - Story Time with Santa, live music experience, egg hatching kits for Early Years, leavers' party donation, contribution towards school trips, wow days, Yr3 guitar lessons.....and more!
