Aquathon 2023 - Friends of Tannery Drift School - Home-Start Royston, Buntingford & South Cambridgeshire

Hi, welcome to the fundraising page for the Friends of Tannery Drift School Aquathon team!

Friends of Tannery Drift School (FTDS) raise money throughout the academic year to fund projects, equipment or facilities which would not otherwise be funded, to enhance school life for the children of Tannery Drift First School.

FTDS is formed of every parent, carer and member of staff who helps to fundraise for the school – whether as part of the committee/membership, making donations, or organising/helping out at an event.

As with most charities, we have faced challenges with fundraising in the last couple of years, but continue to explore enjoyable ways to bring together, and support, our wider school community, such as this Aquathon.

As an example of how funds are spent, in 2021/2022 FTDS funded, or agreed to fund the following:

• Whole school Kapla experience
• KS2 wellbeing resources
• Early Years ARK Farm visit
• Whole school online Panto
• Gift of a book for every child - Story Time with Santa
• Year Group discos
• Library session barcode scanners
• Leavers' party donation
