Eden Animal Rescue was started back in 1995 when a group of caring volunteers started to help unwanted pets in the Eden area by opening up their homes and fostering the animals before rehoming them. Since then, we now have our centre at Moorlands Head Farm, Newbiggin, Temple Sowerby. We have a small staff team and we rely heavily on our wonderful volunteers to help us with the work that we do, from animal care to fundraising. On average each year we rescue, care and rehome 110 dogs, 300+ cats and kittens, and a number of small furries. Sadly at the moment we are seeing an increase in animal coming to the centre who need extensive veterinary treatment and with the cost of everything on the rise, we are hoping that you will make a donation to light up our Christmas tree. Please also write a message about a loved one past or present as we would really like to read them. With the number of animals needing our help on the increase our staff and volunteer will love reading you messages as they will cheer us up.

Eden Animal Rescue was established in 1995, when a group of volunteers decided from their homes, they would help the unwanted cats and dogs in the Eden area find new homes. Since then the charity grown and the demand for our work is even greater. Eden Animal Rescue now have a centre, which is based just outside Penrith, Cumbria. We have a small staff team and heavily rely on volunteers in all aspects of the charity. On average we rehome 110 dogs, 300+cats and kittens and a number of rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs each year.
