Warwickshire Vision Support's 110th Birthday Party

Following a meeting at Leamington Spa Town Hall on the 2nd June 1911, Warwickshire Association for the Blind was formed. For 110 years, Warwickshire Association for the Blind, now referred to as Warwickshire Vision Support, has been providing charitable services for blind and visually impaired people across the whole of Warwickshire.

Today, the vast range of services include: Home and Telephone Befriending, weekly Support Centres, Social Clubs, Information Technology Training, Hospital Advice Desks, Advocacy and Financial Wellbeing Support. These services are only made possible with generous grants, and donations, and the dedication and commitment of over 250 fantastic volunteers.

Additionally, the charity has provided professional rehabilitation services for many years, under Service Level Agreement with Warwickshire County Council, and also holds the Register for Sight Impairment.
