UBW was founded in October 2011 and has donated thousands of knitted, crocheted and sewn burial clothing, blankets, cribs and teddies to hospitals, mortuaries and bereavement services across the UK. These items have been specially designed and made for babies who have been born too soon or who have sadly die shortly after birth between 8 to 34 weeks gestation.
My son Bobby was born sleeping at 22+2 weeks at 5:48am on Friday the 3rd of July 2009 at Lewisham Hospital weighing a tiny 1lb 1oz. UBW is here to provide support to parents and families at the most difficult period of their lives.
