Stay positive, fit and healthy and do something amazing with your time during lockdown.
Sign up for our ‘Time to get Fit’ campaign and raise money for The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust while you do it!
We depend on vital funds raised at events and are facing a critical drop in our income. We need your help fundraising at home so we can continue making a difference in the fight against cancer in young people.
Sponsor a virtual athlete in our triathlon by walking/running/cycling a mile a day and donating £1 for every mile you complete in our name over the next month.
Keep your smart phone on your person and it will track how many miles you have done in a day. You don’t even have to leave the house if you are unable to or do not want to. Climb the stairs, do laps of your garden, dance around your kitchen and get creative with The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust and Time to Get Fit!
Why Support us?
At the start of 2020, we planned to refocus the second aim of the charity to concentrate on the mental wellbeing of young cancer patients, ensuring that they are being supported as a whole; body and mind.
We hope continue our funding for the University of Huddersfield’s life changing research that could see the end of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for some cancer.
We are deeply concerned about our Christmas Gift Appeal for 2020, as well as the many other projects we are funding – it is a time we ask for and need help, and we are asking if you will support us during this challenging time.
Can you help, do something amazing and keep fit?
Thank you for your support.

Project Youth Cancer (formerly The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust) supports 13-24 year-olds facing cancer through vital medical and social research, and by providing tailored health and wellbeing support through treatment and beyond.
Did you know?
Every Christmas, hundreds of teen and young adult cancer patients spend their Christmas in hospital undergoing harsh and invasive treatments. They can’t be with loved ones, but thanks to your support, they won’t be forgotten.
We make sure each young person in hospital receives a special gift, something just for them, to show they are seen, supported, and never alone.
This act of kindness brings light and hope at the hardest time of year, and we can’t do it without you.
Help us put a smile on a young person’s face this Christmas.
With your support, we can make a very difficult time a little brighter.
