Suffolk Remembers 2026 - St Elizabeth Hospice

Join us for Suffolk Remembers on Sunday 21 June, 9-10pm.

Once again, the beautiful Spa Gardens in Felixstowe will be lit up and spell out ‘SUFFOLK REMEMBERS’ with 5,000 candles in memory and celebration of your loved one/s. We will light the candles at sunset, on the longest day of the year, where they will span across the gardens and left to shine bright until 12pm on Wednesday 24 June. You are welcome to join us for the evening of remembrance, or visit the candles at a time that suits you.

Allow yourself a moment to look back over past memories with joy in your heart while we hear readings and music, and pause for a minutes silence while listening to the waves crash along the shoreline.

Everyone is welcome to dedicate a candle, not just those who have used the services of the hospice, but everyone in Suffolk who may have lost someone dear to them. It is so important to us that we include the whole community and in doing so we remind ourselves we are not alone.

Every dedication and donation helps us to continue looking after patients in the hospice and wider community, particularly during difficult times.
