Founded in 1968, we are a leading authority on the conservation of these beautiful creatures – key indicators of a healthy ecosystem– and we have achieved numerous successes for them locally, nationally and internationally.
Nature is in crisis, half of all British butterflies are threatened or endangered and moth numbers have dropped up to 40%. But it doesn't have to be this way. We can save species from decline and extinction but we must act now.
