Rethink Food is an award-winning nonprofit organisation, recognised as one of the UK’s Top 100 social enterprises in the NatWest SE100 Index 2025. We’re on a mission to create a generation of healthy, food-literate, and environmentally conscious young people.

We work with schools, communities, and businesses to help people understand the connection between food, health, and sustainability, empowering them to make positive, practical changes.

We believe that food is more than fuel...it’s a powerful tool for learning, community building, and driving social and environmental impact. Our programmes combine food education, environmental awareness, and real-world action to equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to become agents of change.

At the heart of our work is the National School Pantry Network, a growing initiative that helps schools across the UK provide dignified access to nutritious food for children and families. The network not only supports immediate food needs but also creates opportunities for enrichment, learning, and stronger community connections.

Whether it’s teaching children how to make healthier choices, reducing food waste, or supporting families facing food insecurity, our work is rooted in one goal: healthy people, healthy planet.
