At Anam Cara Fasgadh, we understand that grief does not follow the calendar. It walks beside families through every season and milestone. Our promise is simple: no family should walk this path alone.
Butterflies hold a special place in our charity, they have come to symbolise remembrance, love, and the enduring bond families hold with their children.
This Easter, we invite you to honour your child by adding a butterfly to our garden in their memory. Each butterfly is a symbol of enduring love, a name spoken, and a life remembered, shared with others who understand.
A small donation of £2 helps cover administration costs, but less is fine too.

Anam Cara Fasgadh is an award winning charity, founded in 2018 by 4 friends who are passionate about supporting families affected by the death of a baby, child or young person.
Our aim is to fund and provide respite accommodation for anyone affected by the loss of a child.
In 2022 we were delighted to refurbish and open Poppy’s Place, a comfortable caravan at award winning Tralee Bay Holidays on the West Coast of Scotland. Bereaved families are gifted a week long break here, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the 26 acres of woodland which nestled in the shores of Ardmucknish Bay.
