This winter, Queenscourt Hospice will be illuminated with lights dedicated to loved ones. You are invited to honour the life of someone special by dedicating a light and making a donation to our Lights of Love appeal. You can even share a photo of your loved one with your message.
A very special Lights of Love service will still be reaching you this year. You are warmly invited to join us and watch our pre-recorded Lights of Love virtual service which will be broadcast on Friday 27th November, or at your own chosen time after that. Queenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provides free, high-quality care for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancs. We care for patients with far advanced, progressive, incurable illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage. We help to do this both in Queenscourt and at home through our In-Patient unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services, as well as sending specialist nurses and doctors into hospital and into people’s homes to advise and support patients, families and the frontline staff caring for them.
It costs over £400 an hour, 365 days a year to keep Queenscourt running. We rely upon donations of time and money from our local community to help us keep giving our special kind of care.
