Since their formation in 1987, the plc awards have encouraged charitable donations principally for the benefit of child-focused charities.

This year will be supporting bccs - a children’s charity that delivers vital mental health and wellbeing support to children, young people and their families throughout East London and Essex - www.bccs.org.uk

The coronavirus pandemic finds us all in unchartered waters and whilst it is still difficult to gauge the full impact this will have on our children and young people, what we do know is it has brought many new and unexpected challenges to children’s mental health and wellbeing and the need for the specialist care provided by bccs is going to be more important than ever.

To continue providing these specialist services, they need ordinary expenses to be funded and as the demand for their services continues to grow, so does the level of funding necessary to operate. As they continue to undertake more and more sessions with children and families, we would ask you to make a charitable donation and support their vital work.

Thank You

Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society (BCCS) is a children’s mental health charity with over 40 years’ experience supporting the emotional health and well-being of children and young people. The aim of our work is to make a positive difference to young lives. Whether recovering from traumatic experiences or dealing with emerging mental health difficulties, we help shape the futures of children and young people through proactive listening, one to one counselling and therapeutic practice. By promoting self-resilience, greater self-awareness, and relationship building we aim to empower more positive life choices and help navigate children and young people through difficult and often challenging times.
