National Pet Remembrance Day 5th July 2024
Losing a beloved pet is incredibly difficult and painful. Remembering them is the easy part and something we do on a daily basis. The 5th July joins people across the UK to remember beloved companions that have crossed the rainbow bridge.
We have created a rainbow to remember all of our pets that are no longer with us. Leaving a gift in their memory is a wonderful way of remembering and celebrating their life whilst helping dogs in our care prepare to become a beloved pet themselves.

Since 2005 Hope Rescue has been saving the lives of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs that, through no fault of their own, need a second chance. We commit to take all the stray dogs from six Local Authorities in South Wales - Merthyr Tydfil, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taf - irrespective of their age, breed or medical condition. We also help owners in crisis who need to surrender their dogs, giving them peace of mind that their dogs will be rehomed responsibly.
