“Christmas was always a very special time of year for us.
Mum loved Christmas. She was instrumental in setting up Christmas tree festival at our church, where all local businesses and organisations purchase a tree and decorate it raising money for designated charities. All the trees line the church and people can then come and see them, whilst enjoying a cup of mulled wine and a mince pie. It was quite magical and brought everyone together, which is what Christmas is all about.
It's our first Christmas without Mum and it's going to be very emotional but she wouldn’t want us to be sad. She’d want us to celebrate, enjoy the time of year and remember her smiling, so that’s what we’re going to do.”
Please make a donation to make Mum's tree shine bright in support of all those affected by lung cancer.
