My beloved husband Keith passed away from lung cancer in 2017. Keith had very little in the way of symptoms. No cough, no weight loss, no breathing problems. Just a persistent pain in his shoulder, diagnosed as muscular. He was admitted to hospital as an emergency with pneumonia and a few days later was placed on a ventilator. A CT scan subsequently revealed an advanced tumour in his lung which had spread to his bones. He died twelve days later and our whole family have been devastated by his loss. I want to help the Foundation to raise awareness of how silent and deadly this form of cancer can be, and to continue the search for a way to combat it. This is the best way I can think of to honour Keith’s memory.
