Baby Loss Awareness Week 2024 takes place between Wednesday 9th – Tuesday 15th October.
The week will culminate in the Wave of Light on Tuesday 15th October, where we light a candle at 7pm, creating a wave of light across the world to remember our lost babies.
Baby Loss Awareness Week is a week for everyone in the baby loss community and beyond to come together to remember and commemorate much-loved and missed babies. It aims to unite the pregnancy and baby loss community by reaching out to spread awareness of the impact of bereavement and remembering all babies lost.
Join us this Baby Loss Awareness Week to light a candle in Memory of your precious baby. By lighting a candle with your baby's name, we will add this to our beautiful word cloud.

Simba exists to support families, and those close to them, whose baby has died at any stage of pregnancy or around the time of birth, no matter how recent or how long ago the loss was.
We donate our bespoke Memory Boxes to maternity, gynaecology and neonatal wards as well as hospices so that families can ideally be offered a Memory Box at the time of their loss, using their Memory Box to honour their baby and where possible, create memories of precious time spent together.
