We know it's been a difficult year but our crew have, and will always, be there for us all.
We're always looking for way to help you say thank you, or simply 'Merry Christmas'. That's why we're asking you to send a message in a bauble to our crew this Christmas.
You might not think it but you're kind words mean a lot, especially at this time of year. We recently sent out baubles to all those who receive our newsletter asking them to write a message and we have been overwhelmed by the response! We receive no government funding and are not part of the NHS. We must raise £12 million to remain operational. It’s only thanks to the generosity of people like you that we can continue flying to save lives.
Our three helicopters and four critical care vehicles cover the entire North West region - an area of 5,500 square miles and over 8 million people.
From accidental injuries to severe medical emergencies, our crew of critical care paramedics and consultant-level doctors deliver enhanced pre-hospital care to the most critically ill and injured, and transport patients to the most appropriate hospital to achieve the best outcomes for them.
Our crew provide medical interventions at the scene of an incident which include Rapid Sequence Induction (RSI), administering blood transfusions, analgesia, and many other lifesaving interventions.
