We are raising money so that people can have food on their table this Christmas and during the winter months. Our vital foodbank service has broken all records in its 23-year history and has already issued over 3,000 emergency food parcels, even before the year's end. This equates to just over 84,000 items of food.. These figures include over 1,500 children who have been able to eat thanks to the generosity of our supporters. This highlights that it's a very challenging time for many.
We want to raise £10,000 to provide 350 food parcels for anyone experiencing food poverty and seeking our help at the start of 2024. Each food parcel contains 28 items and the monetary value of over £30 per parcel.
