Nightingale Macmillan Unit & Ward 2 Memorial Tree 2023 - Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity

The Nightingale Macmillan Unit and Ward 2 are specialist palliative care units that provide care to patients with advanced progressive and life limiting illness in Southern Derbyshire.

They are able to offer a wide range of services to our patients and families which includes Complementary Therapy, the support of a creative worker and a bereavement service.

Your generous donations to the unit are used to provide patients with the best possible quality of life, and to provide them and their families with psychological, social, and spiritual support.

Donations are also used to purchase equipment, to enhance the environment and facilities of the unit, to fund education courses for staff and to fund palliative care and lymphoedema research.
