There is something beyond words to express to the person who helped you to walk and talk, fed you, clothed you, who gave you your first puppy, who helped you with school, and who gave you all the love she possibly could. Show her you care by acknowledging her value in your life.

Mother's are the emotional backbones of the family. They are the matriarchs - the woman in your life who have earned respect and gained the wisdom to enrich a family or group.

Mother's come in many forms. Birth-mothers, step-mothers, adopted mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, aunts, friends, mother-in-laws, wives (the mother of your children), sisters (the mother of your nieces & nephews or perhaps even you at one time).

Mother's provide the holding place for everyone’s feelings and do their best to keep us from being hurt. They have the magic touch (and kiss) to help us heal our wounds, physical and emotional. They are forgiving and loving. When you want to climb the tallest mountain, your mother will make your lunch for you. She is the one who will support your dreams when no one else will. She will also remind you to wear clean underwear. A mother’s smile, when it is directed toward you, makes your day a whole lot better.

Truly, our mothers worked hard and made sacrifices, so our lives would be better. There are not a lot of people willing to do that, so let her know you appreciate it. We believe the word mother is more powerful when used as a verb rather than as a noun. As all women are not mothers, but all women are called to mother. A mother is one who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take.

Let your mother know you love her heart with all of your heart, while at the same time helping gentle giant mamas stay with their little ones!
