Light up a star in memory of your loved one and support families experiencing baby loss
Our Vision for the Maternity Bereavement Appeal is to ensure everyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death, who is cared for by CHFT, receives the support they need, in an environment that’s right for them.
The Maternity Bereavement Appeal aims to create a comfortable, self-contained, home from home suite to be used by families who sadly experience pregnancy loss, still birth or neonatal death, on the Labour Ward at Calderdale Royal Hospital. Alongside this a beautifully furnished counselling room, as a place to support families experiencing early miscarriage.
