I would like to help support The Make-A-Wish UK foundation, They help Kids Dreams Come True! I have recently applied for a Wish for my 9 nearly 10yr old son who is currently fighting & winning the fight with leukemia(ALL-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). He has had such a rough time of it with medication challenges, pain, sickness, tiredness, infections and every other problem that comes with this disease! But my boy is SO Brave, Strong and Courageous, he rarely complains about it and tries to hide how he is feeling so he doesn’t upset me but I would do ANYTHING I possibly could to help raise his spirits and put a HUGE smile on that gorgeous little face of his!!! So I am TRYING to raise money for this GREAT CAUSE and to help other kids (who are battling these kinds of illness/disease’s) smile too and to make their dreams come true! To hear my boy laugh and see his beautiful smile means the world to me but those days are far and few between these days so I would love to make his dream come true and any other child that has a dream too. Right now, around 63,000 children in the UK are eligible for a wish because they have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. From the moment they are diagnosed, the simple pleasures of childhood and family life are replaced by worry, disruption, medical appointments, financial worries and isolation.
Make-A-Wish exists to put those issues to one side by empowering a child with the chance to choose a wish that's unique to them, when so much else has been decided for them because of their health needs. In doing so, a wish creates hope, happiness and memories for the whole family to cherish.
