Light up a Life in memory of your loved ones this season.
Light up a Life is an opportunity to remember loved ones who are no longer with us and reflect on memories of them.
We’re delighted for Light up a Life to return in its usual format this year and invite you to join us to make a dedication to your loved ones – family, friends or colleagues.
Dedications received after Thursday 11th November 2021 will be included on the virtual Light up a Life tree but NOT in the Book of Memories.
How to take part
• Make your dedication – Register online at www.stgileshospice.com/lightupalife or, to pay by cheque, complete the attached form.
• Virtual Light up a Life tree – Your dedication will feature on our beautiful virtual tree on the St Giles website.
• Keepsake Card – You’ll receive a keepsake Light up a Life card featuring your dedication to display in your home along with a bookmark and a poignant poem of remembrance.
• Book of Memories – Your dedication will be included in our Book of Memories, available to view at the Light up a Life services and service locations throughout December.
• Services – Join us at one of our Light up a Life services across the region between 28th November - 5th December 2021 to see your light shine on our tree and view your message in the Book of Memories. Up-to-date service information is available at www.stgileshospice.com/lightupalife
As well as being a special way to remember loved ones who are no longer with us, Light up a Life helps to raise vital funds to ensure that St Giles Hospice can continue to provide care for local people, and their families, living with a terminal illness.

St Giles Hospice is a registered charity offering specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge for people living with terminal illnesses, as well as providing support for their families and carers.
Our services are rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.
We care for patients from across our catchment area, which ranges from the West Midlands to East Staffordshire.
Care is offered at the hospice's centres in Whittington and Sutton Coldfield as well as in patients' own homes across the region.
We spend around £10million a year providing our specialist services and, with 25% of this funded by the Government, we rely heavily on donations and income generation from the local community
