This Christmas, we’re recognising all leukaemia patients who feel isolated during the festive period with Leukaemia Care’s #LonelyWithLeukaemia campaign.
This could be physical loneliness if patients are shielding or avoiding crowds, or it could be mental isolation - going through a diagnosis that your family or friends do not understand, during what’s meant to be a ‘happy’ period. Either one can have a huge impact on both your mental health and physical health.
Help us to light up the sky with stars this Christmas and help support everyone affected by a blood cancer diagnosis.
You may want to light up a star in memory of a loved one. You may want to make a donation because a friend is currently living with leukaemia. You may even want to dedicate a star to a member of your healthcare team who have provided you with support.
It's easy to donate. Simply, click on the sky, choose a star of your choice and make a donation. All money raised will support leukaemia patients in 2022 and beyond.
Thank you.

Leukaemia Care is a national blood cancer support charity. We are dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support.
A diagnosis of a blood cancer can have a huge impact on someone emotionally, as well as physically. We understand that feelings of shock, anger and loneliness are all common at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and recovery and having someone to talk to, as well as the right information available can be a huge comfort.
We not only support patients, but carers and families too who can often carry a lot of the emotional strain when someone they love is diagnosed with a blood cancer.
We focus on the support that is needed now to help those affected by blood cancer cope during a diagnosis and beyond.
