We are asking you to “Lent your support” in 2026.
Whether religious or not, many people give up a favourite or perhaps unhealthy food during lent. This year we are asking you to make a donation for the food/drink you are giving up or maybe ask others to make a donation for your sacrifice.
This year, lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18, and ends on Holy Thursday, April 2.

Project Youth Cancer (formerly The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust) supports 13-24 year-olds facing cancer through vital medical and social research, and by providing tailored health and wellbeing support through treatment and beyond.
Did you know?
Every Christmas, hundreds of teen and young adult cancer patients spend their Christmas in hospital undergoing harsh and invasive treatments. They can’t be with loved ones, but thanks to your support, they won’t be forgotten.
We make sure each young person in hospital receives a special gift, something just for them, to show they are seen, supported, and never alone.
This act of kindness brings light and hope at the hardest time of year, and we can’t do it without you.
Help us put a smile on a young person’s face this Christmas.
