Lesley worked as an administrator at the University of Hertfordshire for 44 years and was well known to so many. She retired at the end of August and died after a long illness just a few weeks later. She was so dedicated, professional, kind and considerate. Her patient, good-humoured support made an enormous difference to hundreds of staff over the years.
She is greatly missed by friends and colleagues at the university both past and present and if you would like make a donation to Isabel Hospice in her memory you can do so here.

Isabel Hospice has been providing free palliative care to its patients and their families since 1982. We provide support and care to people in eastern Hertfordshire who are affected by life-limiting illnesses through our Hospice at Home, In-Patient Unit, Community Team, Living Well with Isabel programme and our Family and Bereavement support service.
Our clinical teams work closely with other healthcare providers in the area, including care homes, hospitals and GP surgeries, improving access to our services and sharing their knowledge and expertise.
