Claire Shearer 1925-2023 was a committed socialist, humanist and philanthropist who started raising funds for Revitalise when the new 5p coin was introduced in 1990 and has raised over £3240 since then - all through 5p coins collected from friends, family and public meetings. Her family have requested donations to Revitalise rather than flowers at her funeral. Claire will always be remembered for her unerring kindness, dedication to peace and justice and collection of 5p pieces for Revitalise! RIP Claire Shearer.
