In Loving Memory of Edith Pitceathly.
It is with a heavy heart that this in memory page has been created, to celebrate the life of our dear friend, Edith Pitceathly, who left us in the early hours of Friday, 4th April 2025. Edith was an amazing and caring person, always ready to help, offer advice, and be a friend.
To honour Edith's memory and her love for animals, a Tree of Love has been created for those who wish to make a donation in her memory. All contributions will go to StreetVet, a national charity that provides free veterinary care to the pets of those experiencing homelessness. This vital support helps keep beloved pets healthy, happy, and together by their owners side.
Edith's kindness and compassion will forever be remembered.
In Loving Memory of Edith Pitceathly.

StreetVet is an award-winning national charity offering free and accessible veterinary to pets belonging to owners experiencing homelessness.
It all started in 2016 with two vets and a backpack full of veterinary supplies, swapping the practice for the pavement to support people experiencing homelessness care for their loyal companions.
StreetVet has now grown to be a national charity with a team of 364 volunteer vets and vet nurses outreaching in 24 locations across the UK. We have now supported over 3000 pets – dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds and even a tortoise.
A few years ago, we founded the StreetVet Accredited Hostel & Day Centre Scheme on the belief that nobody experiencing homelessness should have to face the horrible decision of giving up their pet in order to access safe accommodation and support. Through the scheme, we support people and pets to transition off the streets and into safe spaces together.
