We all think ‘it will never happen to me’, but each year around 350,000 people in the UK are admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury.
That’s someone every 90 seconds!
Headway is the UK-wide charity that works tirelessly to improve life after brain injury. Alongside our support for carers and families, we successfully campaign to raise awareness of brain injury and its effects and to reduce its incidence.
All our work is done by generating income through our retail chain and generous donations received from individuals and corporate partners or through fundraising activity.
This Christmas, please support Headway - the brain injury association's tree appeal and donate to light up our tree!

A brain injury can affect anyone at any time. When it does, we’re here to help.
Headway is the UK-wide charity that supports people affected by brain injury.
Every 90 seconds, someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury. This could be the result of a trauma, stroke, infection or tumour.
Most of these people will need help and support in rebuilding their lives.
From supporting families at the hospital bedside, through to helping people relearn the basic life skills they once took for granted, Headway is on hand to help people rebuild their lives.
