The Dr Ted children’s appeal raises money to fund everything from toys to specialist medical equipment and resources to help ensure the youngest patients cared for by The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust have the best experience of being in the hospital as possible.
After seeing first hand the work that goes on in there Special Care Baby Unity (SCBU) when our son was born, I am now a supporter of this charity so that they can continue to develop the facilities and resources needed to improve the experience for both children, parents and family.

Generous colleagues, volunteers and fundraisers have been supporting the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity for more than 20 years.
We are officially registered with the Charity Commission (Registered Charity No 1054407) and aim to raise money to enhance the care patients, their families and carers receive in the community and at Rotherham Hospital.
The charity raises money to help fund the added extras which really make a difference to patients of all ages every year in Rotherham and which the NHS would ordinarily not be able to afford.
The generous donations we receive have enabled the charity to improve patient care, provide specialist training, facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.
