Medical Charity Cobalt knows the importance of having access to the right equipment when you need it. Working with the Public Hearts Defibrillator Campaign, headed up by Clare Seed (Tidal Training Direct) we are pleased to have joined a collaboration seeking to bring public access to this life saving equipment, in the community where they belong.
We are thrilled to have been donated a defibrillator from G4S Facilities Management and are now raising funds to purchase the specialist cabinet which houses the defibrillator. We need to raise £800 to achieve our target. Simply click on our Visufund page and select £10 to make a donation. With every donation a piece of the new equipment will be revealed. Cobalt pioneer innovation in medical imaging diagnosis by investing in equipment, integrated research and education to improve outcomes for patients now and in the future.
Each year Cobalt provides diagnostic imaging for over 115,000 patients at Imaging Centres in Cheltenham and Birmingham and with a fleet of mobile MRI CT and PET/CT scanners supporting hospitals across the UK.
The Charity participates and funds research mainly in the areas of cancer and dementia and provides training for healthcare professionals on a local, national and international basis.
