As our thoughts turn to Christmas, here in Central we thought we would want to recognise the impact of the COVID – 19 Restrictions upon fundraising for local children’s charities within our community and so instead of the usual ‘Secret Santa’ present giving amongst the staff team, we have decided to join the visufund for a local charity group, based in Loughborough, called the ‘Rainbows’ Hospice. Sadly, some children simply do not live long enough. Since 1994 the Rainbow Hospice has opened their doors and hearts to those children and the people who love them most. And now more than ever, they need our help to keep on bringing care and happiness to children and families.

As the only hospice of its kind in the East Midlands, we provide vital care and support to children and young people with a life-limiting condition. Now, we need your help to keep brightening short lives.
Your support means we can provide end of life care, symptom management, short breaks and respite care. We can also be there to support parents and siblings through their bereavements.
Because of you, we can be there for over 450 children and young people every year, offering bereavement support, sibling support and a range of therapies including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, music therapy and play therapy.
Our team are there for families when they need us the most, but we couldn’t do our work without the help of people like you. We know that together we can bring more love, smiles and laughter to our children, young people
and families.
Now more than ever, as we continue to face the uncertainties of the Covid-19 pandemic, we need your support.
