Christmas2026 - My WiSH Charity

Sadly, every year West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust sees patients spending the festive season on our hospital wards.

With your support, we can ensure that every patient receives a gift to open on Christmas Day, bringing comfort, kindness and a little festive magic when they need it most.

Here's just one reason why this initiative means so much:

“I am very grateful to My WiSH for organising the wonderful Christmas gifts and Father Christmas' visit to West Suffolk Hospital. This brought us a moment of joy on Christmas Day during an incredibly difficult time. Mum had been admitted to hospital after suffering a stroke in December and, very sadly, passed away in January. My thanks go to the whole team at My WiSH for being so thoughtful and kind.”

Each gift costs approximately £6, but its impact is far greater. Not only does it bring joy to patients who are away from home at Christmas, it also gives staff the opportunity to spread festive cheer and create special moments on a day that can otherwise feel lonely and difficult.
