About For the Children Ithaca: Our programs are Royal Family Kids Ithaca Camp and Mentoring Club.
We aim to transform lives and communities by interrupting cycles of neglect, abuse and abandonment of children in the foster care system. We fulfill our mission by providing an array of programs, all directed toward changing the trajectory of young lives which usually include a combination of academic failure, drug abuse, teen pregnancy, sex trafficking, homelessness, and incarceration.
-The mission of For the Children is to have 100,000+ foster children in our camps & mentoring programs, and to change lives with the effective demonstration of compassion and unconditional love.
-We offer foster children a life-changing experience through summer camps & mentoring clubs.
-We enlist and train churches across America each summer on how to launch and sustain their local camps & mentoring clubs.
-We provide ongoing support services for existing camps & mentoring clubs.

Royal Family Kids Ithaca is excited to have our 6th year camp and our 5th year of mentoring club in Central-Michigan to give foster children ages 6-12 of Gratiot and surrounding counties a week of positive memories and royal treatment in a Christian Camp environment. Each year, more than 3.2 million children in America are reported as abused, abandoned, or neglected. Many children are removed from their homes and placed in the foster care. There is hope for them, and you can be part of the healing process. We invite you to lend a hand by supporting the local outreach of Royal Family Kids Camp and Mentoring.
