Bury Hospice is open 365 days of the year providing palliative and end-of-life care for our patients and supporting their families.
For many people Christmas is an exciting time to spend with loved ones but sadly, for some patients living with a life-limiting illness, it will be their last Christmas spent with their family.
At this special time of year we are asking for your support to help create magical memories for our patients and their loved ones.
We have created a special ‘wish list’ of ways patients at the Hospice can benefit from your help. A donation of just £10 could pay for a Christmas bubble bath for a patient, £20 could pay for a three course Christmas Dinner, £30 could pay for a complementary therapy session for a patient or their loved one and £40 could pay for a patient’s loved one to join them for Christmas Dinner. Items on this list can also be bought on behalf of a family member or friend as a virtual gift.
Your donation will help us to continue to deliver end-of-life care and support to our patients and their families across Bury this Christmas.
Bury Hospice opened in June 1991 and the charity has helped thousands of people through some of the most difficult times in their lives with specialist, compassionate and palliative end-of-life care.
It costs us £4.5m to run our services with 13% funding. The remainder is raised via our income generation streams which includes fundraising, retail and lottery and support from the community.
