Warm Christmas Wishes from Worcester Cathedral
We invite you to take a moment to write a message that you would like to be read, by either a loved one or a stranger; a positive message that celebrates everyone in our Cathedral’s community this Christmas, and to choose a light to illuminate on our virtual Christmas Tree.
This Christmas, we joyfully throw open our doors in heart-felt welcome to everyone. We hope that all will find an experience that is meaningful. Whether that be shared worship, the stunning choral music, the beauty and lights of our Christmas Tree festival, the magnificence of the treasured building; or enjoying the company of others.
The theme of all our Christmas celebrations this year is ‘togetherness’ – and the shared identity we all have as members of the same community. Our message is that everyone is a piece of something bigger. Every piece is beautifully formed and, together, completes a larger picture.
If you are in a position to offer some financial support to the Cathedral at this time, to help with the costs we inevitably incur over the busy Christmas period, we would be extremely grateful for whatever you feel able to contribute. Your kindness will ensure that we can continue to serve the community, and welcome everyone regardless of faith or background.

Worcester Cathedral welcomes all to share in our community, heritage and worship. We support, educate and inspire through our music, architecture, events and activities that sit alongside our community work and pastoral care.
The WCCA is an integral part of the mission and ministry of Worcester Cathedral, the object of the Association is to support and assist the Cathedral Choir, the Voluntary Choir and the Youth Choir (‘the choirs’) and, in particular, choristers and their families.
Funds raised will be used as detailed above, including any surplus funds.
