As part of Chester virtual Christmas Party on the 10th December everyone has been urged to wear their most jolly Christmas Jumper. As the following day would usually be the UK wide xmas jumper day, we are encouraging all of our Chester office to instead donate a suggested amount of £5 or more to our Quilter Foundation to help support Young Carers on our specific Chester fundraising page.

Here is a little reminder of what our money will help support:
This Christmas, more than ever, we want to give young carers a Christmas to remember. Young carers will continue to support loved ones who could not cope without their support. They will continue to feel the increased pressure of their caring responsibilities due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic. They will still be isolated from friends and family. As a young carer, imagine having no break, even on Christmas Day.
Your gift to a young carer this festive season can make a big difference, and help bring joy and comfort to a young carer at a time when they need it most.
- £10 Could provide a winter care package consisting of items such as hot chocolate, hand cream and bath salts, for a young carer to take care of themselves this festive season.
- £25 Could help put a Christmas meal on the table for a young carer whose family has been over-stretched financially this Christmas.
- £50 Could help a young carer keep their family warm and safe this Christmas, by purchasing clothes like a coat, hat, and gloves to see them through the winter.
- £100 Could provide some much needed 1:1 support from a support worker and counselling sessions for a young carer who is feeling stressed in the lead up to the festive period.
