Warrington Animal Welfare

Warrington Animal Welfare (WAW) was established in 1983 to promote responsible pet ownership and neutering.
Alongside rescues and rehoming, WAW supports local communities, providing free/low-cost neutering to those on benefits/low income in a bid to reduce the amount of stray, abandoned and unwanted pets in Warrington and the surrounding areas.
WAW opened its first rescue/rehoming centre in 2013 and mainly rehomes domestic pes, such as cats, kittens, dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
WAW is also involved in numerous community campaigns related to feral cats and responsible pet ownership.
The charity is solely funded by kind donations and fundraising.
