Single Parents Support and Advice Services (SPSAS) is a charity for single parents across the UK.
We promote equal and fair treatment of single parents and their children. We help single parents by giving them access to services and support that they would not normally have access to for a number of reasons.
We run groups that provide members with support on issues such as mental health, domestic abuse, and children with additional needs. This has a positive impact on our 46,000 members as they feel less alone, less isolated and can interact on our on-line events.
We offer care hampers (funding permitting) to the most vulnerable single parent families which is an on-line shop delivered with a weeks worth of food and essentials in it. We also offer energy top ups to members who cannot afford to top up their prepayment meters, as due to the cost of living crisis our referrals have doubled and it really is a choice between heat or eat.
