Orchid exists to save men's lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers through pioneering research, education and awareness programmes in addition to dedicated nurse led services. We are a small influential charity. solely dedicated to improving the lives of men of all ages who are at risk of, or affected by male cancer.
For many of us, male cancers are 'distant' or not spoken about. Yet, every day in the UK, 136 men will die from a male form of cancer - that is at least5 men per hour. Over 50,000 fathers, sons, husbands, grandfathers and loved ones are diagnosed with these male specific cancers and these numbers are rising, with prostate cancer predicted to be the most common cancer by 2030.
