We relieve suffering and distress through the compassionate, person-centred services of the Dove Centre, Outreach and Befriending.
We support people at all stages:
• Those with a new diagnosis
• Those with an existing diagnosis who require time, information and assistance which supports their wellness/wellbeing
• Those with diagnosis whose condition has deteriorated are able to benefit from our range of services in a manner that meets their needs
• Those who are bereaved
At the Dove Centre we offer:
• Weekly drop-in groups such as Ladies’ lunch, coffee mornings, knitting group; and the very popular Friday men’s group (regularly has >20 attending)
• Blocks of mindfulness and Chair yoga
• Therapeutic treatments such as oncology massage, counselling services
