The KMPT charity is dedicated to enhancing mental health services at the Kent and Medway Social Care Partnership Trust. We achieve this by funding pioneering projects that improve patient experience and wellbeing, provide emotional and practical support to families and carers, assist the wellbeing of healthcare professionals, and deliver innovative research and transformation initiatives.
Kent and Medway Social Care Partnership Trust provide acute and in the community mental health care to over 2000 in patients, and 54,000 patients in the community across the whole of Kent and Medway. The Trust has a particular focus on mental health care for Dementia, Learning disabilities, people with serious metal health conditions with offending history, eating disorders and psychiatric conditions. We have specialist mother and baby units for mother with mental illness and health needs and have a key focus on supporting carers of people with mental health needs.
