Happy Staffie Rescue

Happy Staffie Rescue is a dog rescue with a non-destruction policy that specialises in supporting the Staffordshire bull terrier and related cross breeds. We were founded in June 2009, becoming a registered charity (England & Wales) no. 1132578.
Our aim is to help save, care for and rehome as many Staffordshire bull terriers as we can. We have a small welfare team that share the duties of dog welfare and assessments, veterinary runs, handling e-mails, telephone calls, home checks, dog walks.
Since 2019 we have been members of the Association of Dog & Cat Homes.
We receive no financial support from local or central government, nor are we supported by a larger national charity.
We depend on the generosity of ordinary people to enable us to do what we do. In addition our charity shops also provide an essential income as we do not benefit from the much higher profile of larger, national charities that can generate greater forms of voluntary income.
